This high quality restoration of an Impala 2-door hardtop looks great in Roman Red and Ermine White. It features a 283 V8 with 4bbl carburetor. Equipped with power steering, 2-speed wipers, but no power brakes. The engine compartment is immaculate and even includes an authentic period correct reproduction battery. A bit out of place are the whitish-silver exhaust manifolds and black wiper motor. The wiper motor should be cadmium plated, and the exhaust manifolds, which were painted orange with the engine block, would just be raw cast-iron with surface rust.... but, who wants to look at ugly surface rust? Dual swept-back antenna's, bumper guards, fender ornaments, rocker mouldings, deluxe wheel covers with spinners and whitewall tires complete the outstanding appearance of this car.
