Rear upper control arm frame crossmember weld failures on 1960 passenger car

In the event broken welds are encountered at the attachment of the rear upper control arm frame crossmember to frame side rail, a reinforcing plate, available in parts stock, may be welded to the crossmember and side rail to obtain additional rigidity in this area.
